The Lord of the Harvest Church is a dynamic, Bible-based, Holy Ghost filled, Charismatic Church. This vision started in 2004 with a bible study and fellowship with Our General Overseer Rev. Samuel O Asare, His Wife Mrs. Akosua Krabia and 2 of her friends in their living room in Woodbridge, Virginia.
The Lord has worked through our lives, growing our faith and impacting our generation through us. We are focused on bringing our LORD glory by our fruits.
Our foundation scripture is Matthew 9:37-38 Jesus said to his disciples “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.” From this scripture we obtained our name, our mission and vision
… All men, all nations, and every kindred to experience liberty, victory and security through the power of the Gospel…
… to bring glory to God by our fruits: as an act of our worship.
Our mission is to, “make disciples of all nations teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” Matthew 28:19-20. As a church we are committed to reaching out to our neighbors, friends and relatives and our community. We have outlined and embarking on a strategic community work. In this strategy, every house hold in Woodbridge will hear the word of God. We take the gospel to homes and our goal is to knock on every door in Woodbridge by 2017.
That is to say, every household would at least have the Lord of the Harvest Church evangelism team knock on their doors and present the Good news; doing so, we have the “NO SOUL LEFT BEHIND” policy. Jesus Loves them all. No matter your current state or background. He maketh all things new. As per the scriptures, starting from Woodbridge and to other cities (Acts1:8). We are confident that the word of reconciliation will touch every family in this region.
The ultimate goal is to “bring them in.” to teach them to obey Christ, and live fruitful lives as an act of worship to the LORD. We use also music and worship to unlock the ultimate divine purpose in every individual; not with-standing the ultimate design of fellowship with one another as a dynamic way of building relationship and the family unit in the love of God.
We believe the whole bible (both the old testament and new testament) are inspired word of God and that it is infallible, inerrant, effective, complete, authentic and final word of God
The bible is our only source of Truth, Salvation and Redemption and Doctrine
- We believe in marriage as an ordinance of God for mankind and that it is between one man and one woman: to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Gen1:28
- We believe in the trinity as the Father revealed in the son (the word, Jesus) and the Holy Spirit who is working in our hearts today are distinct, separate and are one
- We believe in divine healing- and that God can heal all manner of sickness and diseases
- We believe that God the Father was revealed in his son Jesus reconciling the world on to himself
- We believe that there is only one God
- We believe that Salvation is only through Jesus the Christ, the son of the living God and not through any other way. John 14:6
- We believe that Jesus is coming back to “rapture” the saints of God to heaven and that all his saints must prepare to meet him
